DR. MANIKAM KUMARASAMY B.V.Sc (Madras) Dr.K.Manikam, graduated as a Veterinarian from the Madras Veterinary College in 1976. He travelled extensively in India and has worked with the farmers practicing traditional veterinary medicine. After returning to Malaysia, he joined as a tutor in University Putra Malaysia. Having given the opportunity to join the banking industry, Dr.K.Manikam worked as an Assistant Manager – Animal Husbandry Loan Department, for 15 years in United Asian Bank Berhad (CIMB). As it has always been his dream to provide quality healthcare and nutrition for animals, Dr.K.Manikam left the banking industry and founded KM Vet Pharm Sdn Bhd in 1990. KM Vet Pharm emerged as the largest supplier for herbal supplements for livestock and pet animals. Besides managing a trading company, Dr.K.Manikam also founded KM Animal Clinic & Surgery which is currently known as KM Global Animal Hospital, to provide treatment and veterinary services to both pet and farm animals. As Dr.K.Manikam believes that knowledge is for life long, he always equips himself with current practices in veterinary services by attending many short courses provided by international bodies and universities such as the Murdoch University, Wisconsin-Madison University, and many others. Dr.K.Manikam has extended his professional services to many associations such as the Malaysian Small Animal Veterinary Association (MSAVA), Veterinary Association Malaysia (VAM), Malaysia Animal Healthcare & Nutrition Industries Association (MAHNIA) and KL & Selangor Indian Chambers. Dr Ganesh Thotta Narasimhalu, B.V.Sc, M.V.Sc, Ph.D (India) Dr Ganesh graduated from Madras Veterinary College, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University India with B.V.Sc degree in the year 1978. Due to his passion for surgery, he pursued master's programme and obtained M.V.Sc in Veterinary Surgery in 1983 and Ph.D in Veterinary Surgery in 1992 from Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University India. He choose his career in Small Animal Orthopaedics by undergoing AO fellowship training at the Cambridge Veterinary School, UK during 1996. Dr.Ganesh advanced his orthopaedic surgical skills further by undergoing an advanced training in Small Animal Orthopaedics at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Michigan State University, USA during 2007. He was in academics for 41 years in different capacities including Professor of Veterinary Surgery and Specialist Small Animal Orthopaedic Surgeon. Dr.Ganesh served four different universities viz: Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University - India, Addis Ababa University - Ethiopia, University Malaysia Kelantan - Malaysia, The University of the West Indies - Trinidad and Tobago before joining KM Global Animal Hospital as a Consultant and Vet Ortho Surgeon in March 2023. Dr Sasidaran Krisnasamy B.V.Sc (Melbourne) Dr Sasi went to vet school at the University of Melbourne, graduating in 2012. He joined KM Animal Clinic soon after graduation. Dr Sasi enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery but has added interest in orthopaedic surgery and internal medicine. He also has special interest in animal welfare and stray population management, and regularly takes part in dog and cats neutering programs. Dr Aimi Najwa Binti Mokhtar D.V.M (UPM) Dr Aimi started her career as a veterinary surgeon in KM Animal Clinic l in 2016. She attended Universiti Putra Malaysia for her undergraduate studies where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2016. Her interests are small animal internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. Dr Nor Azimah Binti Mohd Amin D.V.M (UPM) Dr Azimah attended Universiti Putra Malaysia for her foundation and undergraduate studies. She graduated and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2016. She has keen interest in small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery. After five years of vet school, she started working in KM Animal Clinic since 2016. Dr Manikandan Krishna M.V.Sc (India) Dr Manikandan graduated from College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, Kerala, India in 2015. After graduation he pursued his post-graduate degree in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology at Madras Veterinary College, TANUVAS, Chennai in 2017 with specialization in Small Animal Anaesthesia and Soft Tissue Surgery. He is a specialist in small animal surgery with immense experience and expertise in soft tissue surgery covering gastroenterology, urology, gynaecology, surgical oncology, ophthalmic surgery, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He has worked in companion animal practice in India for four years before joining KM Animal Clinic. Dr Swethan Mohan B.V.Sc (India) Dr Swethan Mohan graduated from College of Veterinary Animal Sciences, Thrissur, Kerala in 2018. He has experienced as Emergency Veterinarian of small animal for almost 4 years. His interests are in Small Animal Internal Medicine & Critical Care Medicine. Dr Akhila T.Radhakrishnan M.V.Sc (India) Dr Akhila graduated from College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pokode, Kerala, India in 2017. After graduation worked as Night Emergency veterinary doctor in Government Animal Husbandary Department Kerala for 2 years. She pursed her post-graduate degree in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology from Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in 2022 with specialization in veterinary orthopedics. She is a specialist in small animal surgery in Anaesthesia and Soft Tissues Surgery. She attended Hands on training for'Animal Birth Control Surgery Protocols' conducted by (WVS Itc, Ooty). She has worked as Small animal practitioner in India for 1 year before joining KM Animal Clinic. Dr Venishri Suparamaniam D.V.M (UMK) Dr Venishri graduated from University Malaysia Kelantan in 2019 and has experience in small animal medicine for more than 4 years. She is interested in furthering her skills in soft tissue surgery and ophthalmology. She has strong belief in team work, good client communication & compassion towards animals. She started working in KM Animal Clinic since November 2023. Dr Adiba Binti Abdul Rahman D.V.M (UGM) (Veterinarian Laboratory incharge) Dr Adiba obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2018 from Universiti Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. Prior to entering veterinary school, she attended Management & Science University for her Bachelor in Biomedical Sciences. Immediately after graduating from UGM, she immediately joined KM Animal Clinic since 2019, as part of the laboratory department. Even since then, she has been in charge of the laboratory department as Laboratory Manager. Her current interest would be the Clinical Pathology Field.
